Sonic the Fighters, the strange and unusual arcade game even got a soundtrack. This was the oddest (and hardest to get) Sonic game next to Sonic the Arcade, which used a trackball and has still not been released to a compilation disk on any system in 2007. The CD cover features the Fighters symbol, and the back has most of the cast in all their virtua-fighter like square polygonal 'glory'.
This one could be relativly hard to collect due to the non-popularity of the game, and the fact that it was only released somewhat after the game came out.
